should've slapped em with distribution and possession of child porn...there should be no statute of limitations on that...and that's exactly what it was..
Unfortunately the child porn laws were enacted after she posed.

I donβt believe you can make a law retroactive in this country. Someone with some legal experience correct me if Iβm wrong. All a newly passed law can do is prohibit further publication and make a best effort to retrieve previously distributed material. Imagine if they passed a law saying that you canβt fly the American flag after sunset, but you have been doing this for years. Would you want to be prosecuted for doing something that was legal before that law was passed? I know that this is not a good example compared to what happened to Brooke when she was a child, but it was the best example that I could think of off the top of my head.
My question is based off of the statute of limitations for child abuse in many cases being retroactive, so didn't know if it applied here
