Old back injury is acting up pretty badly. Problem, besides the pain, is that we're taking our grandchildren on a trip next week. Their parents are being stationed in S. Korea for the next 4 yrs. and they're leaving the 1st week of Dec. so cannot reschedule. This means we will probably only see them 4 times during the next 4 yrs. Freaking out because I am going on this trip regardless but it would be better if I'm not in pain. So PLEASE pray that God heals my pain. If He decides I have to suffer the pain, maybe He could have it start after our trip?

Lord please help ditzee58 with pain management & give them a way to spend as much time possible. With their family before they move further away.
I ask this in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ, Amen.
Also fren, I have found that when mine flares up I need to sit for a 10-20 seconds every few minutes which sucks. That said, the flexible collapsing stool has been my best friend as I recover.

If you decide this is the way to go, you can take in in any line with you, they are pretty easy to open up & you will ALWAYS want to get a flexible one that can handle over 500 lbs (some are rated at 750lbs).
The last one (different brand) I got lasted me 6 years. With myself & multiple family members using it that weight over 350.
I would love to find one made of aluminum to see if I could get 15+ years out of them.
edit: The first one I snagged was a Wise Moose stool from a review & use their cushion for the taller flexing heavier weight stools.
Thank you for your prayers! Thank you too, HonestBobbin, for sharing. My husband will pick up a walker with a seat for me. When my back spasms, my legs get weak and I must have something to lean on or I'll fall. I was using my Dad's but he needed it back.
My mother offered me the extra one I bought her to keep in her vehicle & I am too proud to use it.
Glad you have a plan & those back spasms are killer. I tried to push through one once (before trying to do the proper recovery exercises) and crumpled like a rag doll about two minutes into it. It was the first time I wasn't able to push through pain in my life & to be fair, it was hilarious for everyone around me. One minute walking with mildly shaking knees & then on the ground rolling down the mildly sloping hill from at my child's sports game 😂
Enjoy your time with the grandkids!
We'll have a blast - I determined. Thank you! Did not need the walker today! 🤗 Use it if need it - don't want to fall and break something.
