Find a used one, from the 60's or 70's, those last forever. I found one on craigslist for $100 in 2000. I'll pass it down to the kids. (Same with those old cast iron pans, they last multiple generations.)
Check out Goodwill too, especially around older neighborhoods where the "kids" donate all the stuff mom/dad, grandma/grandpa used. I find cast iron, pyrex baking dishes, good hardback books, etc. My sister was just gifted a Kitchen Aide my SIL who passed last Dec 3rd, by her daughter. My SIL had 3 and my niece kept the "newest" one. Mine is 35+ years young and mixes up recipes fine. Things aren't made to last anymore.
It’s called “planned obsolescence”. I really hope we can get back to “quality built” instead, like in the good old days.
Free the media from the control of these beasts-from-hell, extricate the beasts from every other facet of life, from every corner of this planet (and exterminate the truly evil amongst them), and it’s going to be awesome to behold the worldwide flourishing amongst humanity. IMHO.

👉The guts and gears of the old kitchenaids are all metal. New stuff is all plastic.😉
And they have the nerve to lecture us about being green and sustainability.
Absolutely! AND...we were the ultimate recyclers...glass bottles, everything from milk to soft drinks, appliances were repaired, not thrown away!
