This kind of thing does not exactly endear people to your cause.
They aren’t out to win people to their cause. They’re out to intimidate people into compliance.
Pro-Palestinian protesters regularly prove to be vicious, cruel and or stupid. Or some mixture of the three and believe they are in the right. Which is an extremely dangerous combination.
And unlike the U.S. The Brits don’t have anywhere near as robust a culture of FAFO and firearms. Not to mention up until relatively recently. Western Europe was rather allergic and even afraid of anything resembling Nationalism or Pride in one’s nation and culture.
