Generally speaking, an airstrip needs to be at least 2,500 feet in length for small aircraft such as single-engine propeller planes. For larger and heavier aircraft such as jets, the airstrip needs to be a minimum of 6,000 feet long in order to provide adequate running distance for the aircraft during takeoff and landing.
Interesting. We know that Ghislaine Maxwell was a submarine pilot & there are claims of a sub doc in the island.
