Just saw a post on X that showed that the ashes of human bodies could be turned into diamonds. I didn't believe it, ran a search and apparently it IS a thing. 😶
As the X post points out, could this in fact be "where the bodies are"? 🤔

They've been doing this commercially at least since 2001. GE first made diamonds from carbon in the early 1950's. Any carbon will work. These companies only use less than 10 grams of ashes and reduce them down to the pure carbon. Then they further purify the carbon into carbon graphite powder. After that they have to use a lot of pressure, heat and a "diamond seed" to create the diamond. They can also color them by adding different elements during the process.
Ashes from cremation, on the other hand, are essentially 100% carbon, so they're great for creating diamonds. For years I've been waiting for someone to make that into a business
