Ra the Egyptian "sun god" was the same God called Marduk in Babylon, who was the child of Enki the earlier Sumerian God. Enki was the first arriving on earth until his younger (but more royal) half brother arrived here later, who was called Enlil. These are the Elohim of the bible.
Enki is credited (with another god helping) of creating Adamu (Homo Sapiens) at the Sumerian site E.Din
His higher ranking half brother, Enlil, was unhappy with Enki in E.Din because he granted Adamu the gift of reproductive ability (Enki is the serpent in the bible, in the garden of Eden, the apple is this reproductive ability). Enlil banished The Adamu from the "garden". Later Enki's son Marduk (Ra in Egypt) and others were breeding with the Adamu leading to the production of Demi-gods (Gilgamesh being a notable example).
The purpose of the Elohim on Earth was to acquire GOLD, which was a rare but needed element on their home planet. They have typical lifespans of around 400,000 years, and whilst the made man in their image (we look just like them) they did not give us also the same long lives, although their children often did have somewhat long lives, other examples are the Biblical patriarchs who often lived longer than 600 years (as noted in the Bible).
