Nor are they forthcoming even weeks later in many/most cases.
I've heard of instances of people dropping dead out of the blue, bodies being held for autopsy and then the claim that they didn't perform one after all and the coroner attaching some CoD that sounds reasonable. (Purely anecdotal so take it for what it's worth). I'm guessing in those cases that they did perform the autopsy, found the stringy clots and lied to cover it up.
