In the early days of the CIA they supported Chiang Kai Shek against Mao. Chiang used drug money to fund his efforts and the CIA liked the idea!

If I remember correctly, those stories also link the Catholic cash church collections with the Vatican and their bank and how that is used to launder drug money. I wonder what commission a bank like that could charge?
