It was another argument fight ending in negligent discharge…. The actual place was not targeted for an attack. No FF just some everyday criminal activity.
From an nbc article this doesn’t appear to be a FF/MK Ultra-style shooting, but rather one arising due to an altercation between individuals.
"This started because there was a disturbance between two individuals at the flea market that resulted in gunfire," the spokesperson said, noting the information was preliminary. "It does not appear to be any kind of targeted attack on the flea market," Rogers added.
It must not have been a big deal. I drove through Pearland, Texas today... and nobody mentioned anything about the incident.
I'm 10 miles from Pearland right now, and this is the first I've heard of it. Nobody is talking about it, or showing any concern.
Pearland, Texas is at least middle-class, and many of the neighborhoods are upper middle-class. It's a nice community suburb of Houston, and there aren't any particular crime problems in Pearland. I could name plenty of bad areas around SouthEast Houston... but that's not one of them.
