Human nature, perhaps steered and encouraged by nurture (government school, MSM, etc)- apparently most want to have things dumbed down to the extreme, very binary and sitcom-like solutions. One cause, one magic bullet, snarky quip, canned laughter, end, no continuity, no lasting consequences, no ownership nor responsibility, no learning. Sad.
