Perhaps it's weird, but volcanic activity measured within a decade is misleading. Some volcanos are due for eruption and haven't for years beyond their projected date, precisely because these eruptions are on a larger, more grand scale.

One example is, of course, Yellowstone which last erupted far, far before recorded history.
