Holy Father, I praise You for the gift of patience and resilience which bring what they name here « Vorfreude », a.k.a. « Anticipative joy ». As the Buddhists say, « Fearing a slap is worse than the slap in itself »: it’s quite opposite for great events: anticipating the great event, bringing a drop of water after one another to make it even better sometime feels better than the happening in itself. We currently are in a situation where we can contemplate and foresee all the ways things should improve whenever You load that proverbial camel’s back with that most relevant strand of straw. I pray everyone remain serene and avoid datefagging until most normies actually spontaneously acknowledge an actual major happening. Until then, I praise You for our feeling of safety.
AGENDA
Today we celebrate Eucherius of Lyon: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eucherius_of_Lyon
Eucherius (c. 380 – c. 449) was a high-born and high-ranking ecclesiastic in the Christian church in Roman Gaul. He is remembered for his letters advocating extreme self-abnegation. From 439, he served as Archbishop of Lyon, and Henry Wace ranked him "the most distinguished occupant of that see" after Irenaeus.
