Israel never consisted of the Gaza Strip or any land beyond, so it's strange how that in 1948, these borders were never established. None of that crap matters. The Ottoman Empire lost in WWI and England got the land. They gave the land to the Jews. Skipped a bunch of stuff, but that is the essence. Territory is most often determined by wars. Not by claims.
