Media Matters secretly posted some crap on X/Twitter. Then went to advertisers and threatened them if they didn't pull advertising because X/Twitter is allowing crap on their service. Possibly the advertisers were in on it. That I'm not sure. Either way, it's a scheme by Media Matters to hurt X/Twitter financially. Musk claims they have the proof and are going to sue them into oblivion. I have no idea what the crap was that Media Matters posted.

This would be like some dude running naked through Walmart and then trying to hurt Walmart financially because they are showing nudity to kids.
