We have to also refuse Verklury, since it is the same thing. Hospital staff lied and told patients who refused Remdesivir that they were getting Veklury and not to worry.
Also, at first verbal refusals would work. Then, we had to bring a notarized refusal. In the end, we had to send it certified mail or the hospital would "lose it" and say they never saw it.
Amen , we definitely need to refuse. Normally all you had to do was refuse and sign the form you had been advised and refused and not hold them liable.
