I agree. Our children mean the world to us. God blessed us with them. One of my son's friends got killed Monday night checking the mail in the rain. The man who hit him did not see him. But he did the right thing by stopping, calling 911 and sitting with him until he died. The boy/man's mother is devastated. I wouldn't want death, no matter how it happens to happen to a child. Parents should die before they lose a child in my opinion. We cannot tell our children how to live their lives, we can only pray that what we instilled in their upbringing leads them down the right path and right decisions. God bless you and your children. My oldest will be 40 in March and my daughter will be 39 in August. They are still my babies.
When you consider that, back in the day, women got pregnant something like every other year and the population basically didn't grow, we've come a long way.
I'm am so sorry for your sons friend. What a terrible thing to happen! Many, many prayers for his family and friends.
Had a Dr appt with my 87yo Dad. He was telling the Dr about us kids and he said we were his babies. We are ages 65 down to 58.
Bless him. You are so lucky to still have a father. I lost my father when he was 71. I lost my mother when she was 42. Parents are just as important as us 'babies.' By the way, I'm 63.
