If you keep a minimum at your bank, they'll let you open up another account with no minimum (Truist allows that, at least). Just open up a second account, keep a low amount in it and add to it if needed to buy from the places that require a bank account. And don't provide overdraft protection, so if someone gets hold of it, they can only take what's there.
