It seems to be kind of masochistic to enter an organization (not just the Navy) that's fairly rife with stories of sexual assault on female personnel. It's self-inflicted punishment.
I question motivation, and on what planet does mental illness qualify one for such service? I don't like the idea of actual women in combat for a multitude of reasons, and I wouldn't want to be in any situation where my chance of survival was impacted by someone who isn't comfortable in the body that God gave them.
