No, I’m not averse to kicking out illegal aliens who have invaded many countries, but am averse to kicking out individuals who may have been there for generations, living peaceably, and closing their places of worship.
You’re claiming superior knowledge and insight into “the nature and scope of the problem” yet all you’ve done is repeat the blanket statement that they’re all bad. Would you at least be willing to share your thoughts on the points I iterated? I don’t ask for links, sauce, or the like, but just your perspective so that I and others here can be more informed.
Please go read these Muslims' own religious documents. Even those who have been living here peacefully are told to convert the non-Muslims or conquer/destroy them. And to lie if necessary to do so. Their intent is world conquest, however they have to do it.
I have, anon, since 9-11. I’ve probably forgotten more on the subject than most have read, though admittedly not much in the past five years. Not being emotionally-invested in the topic, and as is my nature, I take information from both/all sides of an issue (including the DS narratives aimed at stoking fear and hate).
I was well aware when I wrote my first comment here that there are many here who are emotionally-involved, but brought up the points to consider anyway. I also added a couple links that I thought would be interesting to those who would like to review them. As yet, no one has addressed my question about how there can be Christian churches in predominantly muslim countries if, as some claim, they’re all savages. No one has yet to address my question on MbS. Discussion about Christian vs Christian? Nothing. The research data on American muslim attitudes? Nothing.
While I’m most definitely not a proponent of islam myself (despite what others may think) I remain averse to the WW2-era Japanese internment camp mentality. The Mossad brazenly state that deception is their standard MO yet many believe they’re our greatest ally. (USS Liberty comes to mind). There are those who believe all jews are horrific savages based on the Talmud, but I’m not about to condemn every jewish individual and call for their expulsion and closing of synagogues either. I believe it should all be open to reasoned, dispassionate discussion without censorship. I understand that things of this nature get emotionally charged especially during wartime. Maybe after “the storm” would be a better time to discuss matters like this.
I do appreciate your gentle urging and, as I stated, it’s been some time since I’ve waded into this morass. I’m not particularly “invested”, so to speak, in the topic, but may wade back in at some point in the future to take in whatever the current information is from all sides, all perspectives, but for now I’ve commented all I’m going to. As a closing remark let me just add that I have great hope for the future that so much of what we’ve been led to believe will be exposed as lies and that at least some of the truth will be laid bare before my time here on this earth is over. It’s going to take years if not decades for the truth to come out.
Thanks for the links. The first one, at least, is long… going to take a while to read through them. I found the following which may be of interest to those interested in the topic.
No. He doesn’t say there isn’t violence in islam, but rather that it isn’t a pervasive tenet for all muslims. Again, not blanketing all followers of the religion under the behavior of the worst, most violent ones. He points out in no uncertain terms where the zealots get their perceived “justification” for their violence, doesn’t sugar-coat the fact that they use their religion for this. Did you actually read the article or did you reject it out-of-hand because I used the term “balanced”?
Look, you can have whatever perspective you want, read what you want, don’t read what you don’t want. As I recall you’re former military and, as stated earlier, I simply cannot relate to your perspective as I’m not military. I would have to have been in your shoes to understand your perspective. This is in no way a criticism, but an honest admission that we come from differing points of perspective and it’s apparent we can’t find a basis to continue.
I won’t bother replying to you with more links or even just discussion on what I’m finding as I’m reading through the links you’ve suggested I read. I am learning (from that first link), disagree on some of the interpretation thus far, got about halfway through and then skipped through the second half, will try to find more time at a later date to delve deeper. Thank you, again, for the links.

On a scan through this it seems pretty balanced.
