Most of what you are saying is true but I hope you are wrong overall.
My hope is that Luxon has been cunning in his politics in order to get elected. Remember that New Zealand has a very noisy and organised extreme left, including the MSM. I believe Luxon made sure he gave them very little to feed on during the build up to the election, but said enough to get the silent majority interested in him.
Now that he has been elected, we may find that he happily implements the conservative policies of his coalition partners. I am hopeful that any WEF strings that were attached to Luxon have been cut.
Well I hope you are right, but I have been seriously let down in my hopes for National for about 15 years now. The problem is who is top team is:
Big Tobacco - Chris Bishop who drives around in a Nissan Leaf
Nicola Willis - what a whiny socialist she is
Judith Collins - what a pathetic sell-out she turned out to be, depriving us of Simon Bridges when it was clear she was done - just to install Luxon
National have consistently done the very worst damage to NZ, all the while promising to do the opposite. RMA - National. MMP - National. Flag debate - National. Capital gains tax (aka Bright Line) - National. Oranga Tamariki - National. Who didn't repeal the insane ERA - National. Who skewed the scrum to mess up our chance of getting rid of MMP - National. Who appointed the terrible judges that we have now - mainly National. Who signed NZ up to the He Puapua UN agreement - National.
Worst NZ PM ever - Jim Bolger. Second worst PM ever - John Key - given the list above. Which is quite an achievement given they had to be worse than Jacinda - but both of them screwed NZ in a more enduring way than she did.
But maybe you are right, maybe the leopard has changed it's spots, maybe they have disavowed globalism and the WEF - but my trust level is very, very low on them.
