Devil's Advocate: we could be seeing a flashback of traditional flus/colds.

They've basically locked down since 2019, and then forced people's immune systems to hyperfocus on one particular piece of one particular strain of the Common Cold for five years... naturally, the vaxxed would be vulnerable to illnesses they would have shrugged off before that...
