Astronauts weren't a thing until she was 15 according to the tweet. She would not have been writing a letter about being one before one existed. We don't need any more information to see that the premise of her entire claim is false.

Side note: the first astronaut was not put in space by NASA. The public should not be funding special interest space projects. NASA is at best a waste of money.
