What a beautiful scripture message that inspired one of the most beautiful Christian hymns. Let me share a piano version that I love and played often...the cross is the entirety of the Gospel of Christ who was broken and poured out for us...what a wonderful Saviour...
Wonderful music. I think a lot about what it cost Jesus to save us, what love He had for us, and that may explain why there is such joy in heaven when a sinner repents and reflects some of that love back to Him. God bless you and yours.🙏
FTA "God in His own infinite grace was pleased to save all who believe in the Cross of Christ. The message of the Cross is foolishness to those who are wise in their own understanding and who are perishing, but to us who have been saved by grace through faith in Christ's sacrificial death and glorious Resurrection, it is the power of God and the wisdom of God."
Reverence for the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. This verse refers to people who are wise in their own eyes and reject God out of pride and self-righteousness. Faith is believing God's promise to save all those who believe in Jesus' finished work on the cross. Salvation is a free gift but many still reject it because they believe they can save themselves.
Amen.
Dear God please heal and guide me.
In your sons name Jesus Chrust.
Amen.

I don't think it sounds good.
Pleases god through the foolishness of the massage preached?
I thought we could know god through wisdom and faith, how does that fit together?
