Check out DARPA’s “unfunded” program called Total Information Awareness.

Thank you for that link. I'd guess TIA is a precursor to Recorded Future, using at least parts of the same software. Here's the white paper for Recorded Future. Their website is also well worth checking out. Notably their timeline.
RF looks like a visualized and modernized iteration of TIA. We’re all under the watchful eye of The Machine.
Also, be advised that NSF is about to become the new DARPA.
