I might think ill of the dead person, but is to be done in private, or behind a screen name. Anyone who thinks it's a good idea to demean a dead person so quickly after dying, and with an official account with your real name on it, is flat out insane.
Even Trump knows better than to speak ill of the dead. We should aspire to his example.
He's doing exactly what he should be doing. People need to remember he's a politician, and what he says about Kissinger behind closed doors is probably vastly different than what he says in public. Especially after him just passing.
My ex mother-in-law hated or should I say, showed her dislike for 2 of the 3 daughter-in-laws she had. I was on the dislike list. The other daughter-in-law and I were pretty close. After me being divorced from her son for many years, the day came that she died and my daughter called me to tell me the news. Then she got on FaceBook where the other daughter-in-law that I was once close to, commented and said, "Ding, dong the wicked witch is dead." Then she told my daughter to tell me that and that she knew I felt the same way. Well, that's when I remembered what my grandma had said. And I told my daughter that I would never say something about her that bad and neither should anyone else. Well, to make a long story short, five years down the road the daughter-in-law was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She was a year younger than me. She died last year. Never speak ill of the dead.
"'Never, speak ill of the dead"
Amen.
