Just to be clear: Pneumonia is not catching. It is a secondary infection after the patient catches a separate respiratory bug, and their immune system is compromised. Generally it happens when the initial bug is 'not so bad', and the patient keeps walking around (Walking pnuemonia), although it can develop in hospitalized patients, of course, especially if they are put on ventilation equipment.
What everybody is ignoring is that there were orange pollution alerts just days before, for the region where this is happening. Nothing to see here - people just sent their kids to walk to school in the polluted smog.
Add in the flooding...and high humidity...causing mold...breathing black mold is horrible especially for immature lungs. I called that a few weeks ago...hate being right about those things.
