BTW it's not smart to swim with alligators, but don't be too afraid of them (at left in OP photo). In general they fear and shun humans. You're not really on their menu; they prefer smaller prey.

Crocodiles? You ARE on their menu. They guzzle things like zebras, buffaloes, and wildebeests for a living.
