I recommend buying “junk silver” (old US coins that are 90% silver) from coin dealers.

I’ve been wanting to do this , I only have silver coins , I want to buy junk silver , do u have a place thst u buy from ,, I looked at a couple but could not find ? Ty

I haven't yet encountered a coin dealer who didn't have junk silver to sell, so if you call one and they don't have any, just try another.

SD Bullion is a good place to buy precious metals online. Very reputable and they have a lower premium than JM Bullion. Just be aware that you are getting into this very late and prices have gone up quite a bit in the past months, so you will be paying up and the premiums will be fairly high. You might want to wait for a pullback in prices. If you do buy now, I would buy a small amount and then wait to see where prices go. SD Bullion also has weekly sales that are a good way to save money.
