Zach Dean from Outkick:
"Goodness gracious me — I didn’t realize it was allergy season here in the great state of Florida!
Look, I’m usually not one to do the whole serious thing around here. I leave that to the other wordsmiths at OutKick, of which there are many and they’re all great.
But I saw this a few days ago and decided it should be on the site. There’s a lot of awfulness in the world right now. A ton of agenda-pushing by anyone and everyone, especially in the world of advertising. It’s non-stop.
Bud Light really screwed up earlier this year. Target followed suit. It’s all pretty damn depressing.
But this little number from Chevrolet is awesome, and it’s everything that America should be heading into the home stretch of 2023. It’s certainly what we used to be."

Reminiscence is so important for those with dementia.
When I worked in physical therapy in nursing homes, I used to teach a class on it for the staff. We would do things like asking the family to bring in towels and soap that the resident always used at home. The residents had forgotten how to wash their own faces, but when touch or smell would help that brain circuit fire, the rest of the action (washing the face) would be more available to them (because the memories are linked in circuits).
When we hand them an orange already peeled, they may not remember how to eat it. But if we handed it to them half peeled, they would sometimes finish peeling it then put each piece they uncovered into their mouths.
I do have a lot of hilarious, sweet stories from working with them.
