For the last fifteen to twenty years Remington's guns have been pieces of shit, and I should know I was a long time fan of the 700s and 870s. Some of the later stuff they were turning out shouldn't have had the Remington name on it.
This is 100% true....Remington lost customers thru shit products that belong more on a Chinese website than American. Considering they've been around so long, one would think a certain level of quality would be a baseline to the name Remington.
Agreed. Ruger cleaned up their act and improved product quality. They are literally taking over large swaths of many segments of the market. They dominate the ban state market, they are killing it in the take down market, they are very visible in the long range market, and have reinvigorated the 5.7mm market. Colt, Remington, HK, S&W..... They're all just sitting in their laurels. PSA and Ruger are eating the market that the big brands are leaving on the table.
I hope they up their game.

A hundred upvotes if I could.
