I read the whole 6,024-word 13-page single-spaced opinion piece in WaPo by Robert Kagan who is the son of a Russian Jewish immigrant. Should his ethnicity matter? I don't know, but it seems that so many that attack DJT are of this ilk. Why? He's done so much for Israel. I don't get it.

Re his OPINION PIECE, "A Trump Dictatorship is increasingly inevitable. We should stop pretending":

I found his long-winded, bloviated, vanity production a collection of imaginary ramblings and fear porn confabulations that suggest POTUS will be a tyrannical dictator who will reign terror on all and something must be done to stop him.

He fails to connect that his own party's leader is behaving in a most egregious manner, wielding an iron fist which is destroying America.

He also fails to acknowledge that his party and his leader has been, furiously and relentlessly attacking Trump, his family, his supporters, his legal team and anyone else who even dared to like a pro-Trump comment on Twitter - the exact kind of dictatorship that Kagan professes Trump will command if he obtains power once again.

The irony seems to be lost on him. His claims are almost comical. Like these statements:

"Republican members of Congress [who] contemplated voting for Trump’s impeachment and conviction feared for their physical safety and that of their families."

"But wait until Trump returns to power and the price of opposing him becomes persecution, the loss of property and possibly the loss of freedom."

"Will those who balked at resisting Trump when the risk was merely political oblivion suddenly discover their courage when the cost might be the ruin of oneself and one’s family?"

Does he truly believe the words he put to paper? If so, I just have to shake my head...
