Quota **** Of course there’s risks of that but I believe that Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman (MBS) has anticipated that his reform in the KSA’s politics and religious laws might garner some extreme opposition. That’s why last year, he executed a Stalin-style purge.
First, he arrests everyone who has the power to threaten his position as the leader of a reformed Saudi Arabia Hundreds of people, including other influential princes, got arrested on corruption charges and the government seized their assets, which totaled around $800 billion. One prince tried to escape to Yemen but his helicopter crashed before he could reach it.
Then he also sweeps the rest of people with influence in the country which did not support him 100%.
Not only the conservatives one mind you, even powerful liberal people got arrested too such as a liberal cleric named Salman al-Awda. Al-Waleed bin Talal Considered Saudi Arabia's wealthiest man, pushing a liberal agenda
