Am I the only one that is thinking that the Domain Name Registry (I can't recall what it is called now) that was moved to Europe from the US under Obama may have had something to do with the US not being able to spy on their citizens.
It seems after reading this that it made it easier legally for these guys to tap those lines/URLs. Maybe I am not understanding the tech the way I think it could work.
Now enter Musk & all these old fiber lines that were run in the 90s (what on earth is a self healing ring?) may become obselete.
So many potential connections to recent & current happenings. Good find fren.
