WEEEKLY CHAT - WEEK 49!
WEEKLY CHAT #49
OK, let's try the weekly chat idea, V2. Been hearing some positive comments! Seems like we have a winner! Give it a chance! Here goes! <3
If you haven't been sick with a bad cold in the last few years please advise what's your supplement or immunity routine. Maybe it's other things going on with my on going health issues, IDK. But I have had more colds in the last two years than the previous years. Years ago everyone around me got sick and I never did. Not trying to get an analyzed. Simply curious to see what works for you.
Vitamin D supplementation is super important for me. I try to have my D levels checked at least once a year; I am almost always low, even with supplements, and I can always tell when I'm reaching critical levels because every exposure to everyone leads to me being sick with something. I've started taking a 10,000 IU supplement with a K2 supplement everyday which has helped immensely this winter. Quercetin, vitamin d supplements, and zinc have been helpful for my somewhat immune compromised husband.
Also, it's not a supplement, but I find that eating massive amounts of tzaziki when everyone around me is sick keeps me well. Plain greek yogurt, tons of raw garlic, raw cucumber, lemon juice, and olive oil. I smell awful (probably why the germs stay away), but I feel great, lol.
I have never heard of tzaziki just looked it up and it sounds delicious. Thanks for sharing I'll be checking that out. I love meditation food. In July my vitamin and mineral levels were good except B12 was on the low side but not enough to require injections/supplement. I've had chronically low B12 off and on the last twenty years. Can't figure out why the levels are good and I'm getting sick. Who knows if the test are correct. The entire medical system is awful. It's so frustrating getting lab tests and the doctor doesn't explain anything. I'm about done with them unless it's an emergency. Would love to find independent legit testing.
