Actually, as a shoutout to a survival tactic, you can drink your own urine for up to two weeks and remain alive. Some people have done tests up to 30 days, but they used supplemental water as well.
Just sayin'! In dire times it would be worth it to remember
You can sirvive drinking your own urine for years. Been done before, these people are the healthiest on the planet. Urine therapy is a thing. A very ancient thing, a mode of healing. It’s your own perfect medicine, in fact there’s a book with that very title
Perfect medicine for what? The part of urine that isn't water is mostly urea and various electrolytes (largely sodium chloride). Urea is a diuretic. The rest is uric acid, creatine, phosphate and organic acids. There are only trace amounts of proteins and hormones. Plus some glucose and water-soluble vitamins.
I'm not seeing what this is supposed to cure or how it will improve health. There are some conditions under which it may be the most sterile liquid available, but that's all I'm seeing.
And of course there's a book about it, because when there isn't any way for big pharma to make money off something there's always a way to make money off it by writing a book about how it cures whatever,
