And there it is. Only one reason he would go to the USSC - he knows how they'll rule, likely due to being compromised. It will be interesting to see who is bought - either when a justice turns down the case, or when they vote against Trump.

Jack is trying to skip the court of appeals to speed the trial up. This makes me think the DS has given him a specific timeline he's trying to meet. My guess is that the SupCo will kick it back down to the court of appeals.
They want a conviction before next years election to keep Trump off the ballot.
