Hoping I can convince my wife to give it a go at home. I saw it once around Christmas while being pretty sick and it was an instant spirit lifter. There really is something warm and cozy about the movie when there really shouldn't be since it is just a action movie. So yes, definitely a Christmas movie, the vibe and warm fuzzies are there.
Problem is my wife is not a movie person, which yes, that gets major frog points. However, she does has some nostalgia for childhood movies, so maybe if we could alter the timeline and Die Hard could involve muppets or be animated by Don Bluth she'd love it
My all time favorite Christmas movie is, 'White Christmas'....funny WWII musical about doing something nice for a pal in the Army. All Irving Berlin songs.
I'm gonna say a prayer that she might want to see it... action packed, funny, sweet and tender moments plus it's good triumphing over evil and
happy ending! Good luck fren!

I actually had my wife watch it just 2 or 3 days ago. She still doesn't think it is a Christmas movie.
Well...I can understand her sensibilities.
