Isaiah 47:10
"10For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me."
I do find it interesting the 47th chapter seems to coincide with Trump as the 47th President.

Habakkuk 1-2 hits harder than that by a mile.
Sure, But it doesn't fit the context my post, the 47th chapter and 47th presidency.
The first beast will be destroyed by the second beast, but the second beast ain't your friend per Revelation.
This chapter of Isiah could be talking about the Babylon that existed during that time in history. Also, Mystery Babylon could be Rome given that America is sometimes less than respected given the term "Ugly Americans."
In my opinion Israel and Babylon especially in the end times represent a spiritual kingdom that is represented by "kingdoms" or perhaps more accurately people groups in the physical.
Here is a shower thought. Maybe the New Israel and Jerusalem of Revelation is the United States. This sort of makes sense because of the nature of our founding as a set of colonies and how they were devoted to God. Ever since the time of the revolution, and before, Satan has been attacking this nation. It makes sense since it was one of God's creations.
Perhaps you're onto something there. Although that may depend on the accuracy of our history. Certainly the pilgrims fleed to our shores to escape religious oppression but one could argue at least some of our "Founding fathers" had a different plan for the purposes of our country. 13 bloodline families and 13 original colonies, Benjamin Franklin and the helll fire club, and the apotheosis (becoming a god) of Washington may shine a different light on our founding. I don't pretend to know what was in the minds of these men but have to consider the facts.
