Oh the hammers and chisels that built that in 1640? When and where did the marble buildings come from? Who carved/created those? Did the horses and carriages bringing the marble? I don’t know of any “buildings” built to this standard recently…JS…

Surely we had craftsmen in 1636, when Harvard was founded.
