Meanwhile, DC's METRO system is about to fail. Not a shocker, it's been a trainwreck (pun intended) since it was created. Accidents, track failures, crime, 1/3 of the massive escalators being inop at any given time, ridiculous fees, incompetent workers, cost overruns, project delays. WMATA is a clownshow.
