Contract ended 3/2015. Article claims attacks happened in 2016. What am I missing?

The woman claims she was fired in 2020 when she reported the abuses to HR, the accuser claimed.

Reading comprehension, it seems.

None of the coverage on this suggests the contract ended in 2015.
