The NRA estimates their are over 415,000,000 legally owned guns in this country. (I think it's closer to 500,000,000 taking into account "legacy" weapons handed down from father to son for a couple hundred years). But the point is that if legal guns were the problem...the body count (and not talking about Taylor here) would be staggering.
