It is basically just someone else's or some committee's opinion of what people should or shouldn't do. So the question is, is it just? Does it make sense? Is there a hidden benefit (financial) for some person or segment of society? Why was it created? At the behest of a big donor or for the true good of the citizens? Is it even a legal law? In the United States, any law that contradicts the Constitution (the supreme law of the land) is actually, illegal. Yes, we have illegal laws in the USA and many don't know or even question it.
