I've been fascinated with this stuff since I was a child. We've definitely lost our civilization multiple times, each time with a cataclysm that erased most of our past humanity. Terribly sad. Some cataclysms like The Great Flood have been attributed to 'God' and others to sun flares or comets/meteors striking the earth, or 'Planet X' passing by earth, flipping its poles with its gravitational pull. Others may have been caused by man's weapons that got out of hand, decimating the planet.
All the vast and carefully kept knowledge of the world was stored in the Alexandria library, but was burned down and lost.
All these beautiful old and magnificently built structures and cities have been 'burned down' by 'someone/something', similar to the Maui fires.
Who is behind this? Humans or ?
When will we be able to know what is being held in The Vatican and The Smithsonian? There are block-long corridors of full vaults of relics, fossils and manuscripts - forever kept from all but a few...

Why is this allowed?
Wouldn't surprise me if the library of Alexandria remnants are kept at the Vatican.
