I think the deep state saturates news with false examples of things they’ve actually been caught doing, like Wayfair, to dilute the impact of the truth. Especially heading into election year, it makes sense to scrutinize things like this as potentially being their own cointel program. They just sit and wait for us to take the bait possibly. That said, we also don’t want it to shut us up. At least this does draw attention back to Wayfair and re-elevates the discourse. These people are stupid? They’ve created a circular trap they can’t get out of.
