What if all American businesses collaborated, (took a big hit financially at first) and make, grow, manyfacture, drilp, mine everything here at home, wayyyy underbid ANY OTHER COUNTRY and cut inflation and knock skyrocketing costs by bringing everything back home and eliminate the shipping of jobs, money and products from overseas.
Just my wheels turning though.
When my family amd I owned and operated a dog resort we were initially told that it was not good to underbid competitors, but we did anyway, much more business came our way followed by happier customers because we provided quality care.

Nice idea, but Walmart will never get rid of the cheap labor from China. Yea, they say they are all American, yet they want the cheapest stuff on their shelves. If you did shift the manufacturing from China to America then cheap Walmart crap will rise in price by double. Plus the front end loading of setting up the manufacturing ramp up will cost a bundle. Going from zero to 100% for manufacturing televisions, Barbi dolls, and crock pots would be an enourmous outlay of funds.
Drive down jobs sent overseas and manufacturing costs will rise.
Underbid even Walmart and put them under.
You would have to have no income tax, no minimum wage, no environmental restrictions, no welfare (people would have to work).
Physically impossible.
You would have to have offsetting tariffs.
Before 1913, this countrys government ran mostly on tariffs, with very few and limited taxes.
