That is quite interesting. I've also been lead to believe it always falls on the 21st of the month.
Reading more into it I see it's because of time zones.
"The winter solstice in 2023 will occur on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 9:27 pm CST in Wichita, Kansas, USA, which corresponds to Friday, December 22, 2023, at 03:27 UTC."
I'm -5 UTC so for me it's the 21st.
I've discovered the name of the song is Puccini's 'Nessum Dorma' and in the video it's sang by Pavarotti. The lyrics I messed up. It's 'at dawn, I will win.'
Also I wrote 'Dawn of 2023' should say 2024. And I messed up Equinox and Solstice.
Sorry, my post was a stream of consciousness moment. As is this reply.
Not to datefag, looked at my new calendar for 2024(has Dec. 22 as Winter Equinox). I always thought it fell on the 21st. Any thoughts?
