He should roll out a plan for the federal government to subsidize the purchase of a new U.S. manufactured weapon for every adult American citizen that wants one. Any pistol, shotgun or rifle up to a value of $1500 would be covered once proof of citizenship is made along with the completion of a gun safety course run through the NRA which would be free. Trump couldn't lose with a program like that. It would cost far less than Biden or Obama sending cash to Ukraine or Iran. The left would have a total meltdown but they'd probably rush to get their free gun as well.

I don't think you did the math, fren. Even if only 200,000,000 of the 335,000,000 opted in for this, the cost at $1,500 each (not to mention the cost of training that many people) would be 3e11.
I've got 40 years of firearms and tactics training. I'll teach for a box of ammo each.
