It started a few years back, she has confessed to me she suspects the vaccine could have started it all. We are not sure if it’s MS. Appointment with neurologist upcoming. If y’all have any suggestions, I could try to run it by her. Links, research, anything that you anons may have read that I can back up and show her would be appreciated.

Please tell her not to stress about it at least until she has her MRI. MS runs in my family (they say it can't but when about half of the males on my mother's side ended up with MS that can't be a coincidence) and I've had several close relatives that had it most of their lives. My grandfather's twin brother was in a VA nursing home for almost 30 years while it ran it's course. My uncle died of it 10 years ago. There are at least 7 in my family that I know of that had it.
I was having very MS-like neurological symptoms almost 20 years back as well - muscle weakness, headaches, stumbling or tripping, numbness, and several others. I was lucky and had a great doctor that would actually believe me when I told him something was going on, so rather than monitoring me and doing all sorts of other tests he sent me immediately to get an MRI of my head and neck area.
Long story short - no lesions (so it wasn't MS) but it showed 2 herniated discs in my neck that needed immediate surgery, and also picked up a pineal cyst and a small pea-sized brain tumor. I had surgery within a few days and had C5-7 fused. All of the symptoms went away. As for the tumor and cyst - supposedly around 20% of people have one of those tumors and never know it. Neither my tumor or cyst has grown and doctors have never worried about either one.
Her MRI will either show lesions or something else. MS mimics other stuff so until she knows for sure it won't do any good worrying about it. She probably knows about all of this but my not even be thinking about other possibilities (like severe herniated discs). My doctor didn't think about that either but by trusting me that something bad was going on he could've saved me from paralysis.
I wish you both good luck. Please let us know how it goes. She will have plenty of prayers from this community.
